Privacy notice

What we collect

If you contact us or apply for a trade account we collect the details you send us: your name, business name, email address, telephone number, delivery address and any information about your business that you choose to share. If you place an order we also keep records of what you ordered and where it was shipped.

Why we hold it

We use your information to price and set up your account, to fulfil and ship orders, to handle returns and quality claims, and to answer your questions. We may email you about your account, your orders, product specification changes or stock availability. We will not add you to a marketing list without asking first.

Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary, and only with the suppliers who help us run the business: our shipping and freight partners, our payment processor, our accountants and our IT providers. We do not sell your data, we do not trade contact lists, and we do not pass your details to other manufacturers.

How long we keep it

Account and order records are kept for as long as your account is active and then for the period our tax and accounting obligations require. Enquiries that do not become accounts are deleted within twelve months.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies needed to make it work and to understand, in aggregate, which pages people read. We do not run advertising trackers on this site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without losing access to anything on the site.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, or tell us to stop emailing you. Email the trade desk and we will action it. Depending on where you are based you may also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
